This task was actually very enjoyable in my opinion, looking through all the different eras and discussing the difference of their horror poster was very interesting, looking through the posters the changes start to become very obvious.
A well set out response Ben. You have identified conventions such as the changing trends in colours and some contextual influence, although especially in terms of the stereotypes and representation of gender this could have been explored in more depth. You compare your way through time quite nicely referring each time back to the 1950s which is a strength, words such as denotes and connotes would help make points around symbolism and implied meaning.
